Elbrus area is one of the biggest mountain-skiing resort in Russia located in the Western Caucasus Mountains in the Kabardino-Balkaria and the Karachay-Cherkessia region. The highest pick of Europe –Mt.Elbrus (5642m) has always attracted people’s attention by its enigma and severe beauty and has made this area famous throughout the world. Mt.Elbrus is a stratovolcano that has lain dormant for about 2,000 years with two snow-covered peaks and with  slopes that are good for mountain skiing, modern kinds of snowboarding, excursions using snow tractors through all the year. There are also hiking, climbing and skiing routes of various complexities there. The sunbeams multiplied by snow and glaciers reflection shine so brightly that even on a cloudy day you will have to put on sunglasses! And you can be sure that you will get a unique mountain tan.  The cable cars will take you as high as 3500m and you will rise to the place above the snowline using a chairlift. At the top you will admire the wonderful panorama and have a free time for active rest.

Driving through a picturesque landscape of the Alikonovka river canyon you will soon enjoy the view of the 18 meters high waterfall called ‘Honey’.
